BAKER SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

The Mary E. Baker School classrooms are technology rich while our green school utilizes the latest in energy-conservation technologies. Our teachers and students are very fortunate that this latest technology will enhance their educational journey throughout their school day.

We want our students to be excited about learning in an atmosphere where technology offers them many innovated educational experiences.

Our children are also learning about the concept of "Going Green" and the many environmental problems that our planet faces. Take care of our Earth - Keep it in good health so that it will be able to grow plants, keep animals and humans healthy, give us clean air and water, and provide us with a beautiful place to live.

The Mary E. Baker community of learners are also taught about the importance of giving back to the community. Our students will be involved in many Community outreach projects. We teach our students that as members of our community we must also give back to our community. We began our year with a canned food drive for the Charity Guild in Brockton. All donated items will benefit many needy families during this holiday season. Our students are also involved in the Be A Santa to a Senior Project in which holiday cards will be made and placed on gifts for senior citizens in Brockton as well as the surrounding towns. Throughout this school year, the Baker Community of learners will continue to be involved in many other community based outreach initiatives.

The Mary E. Baker School is indeed a living legacy to Mary, herself. From educational opportunities for our children to community outreach initiatives. We all know that with a little effort we can all make a big difference!
